First gynae visit

Dec 19, 2007. Finally we get to see our baby after waiting for 2 weeks from the time we know of its existence. As usual, Shubin's gynae, Dr Tan, is as friendly as ever, chatting with her about the weight that she 'wants' to gain for this pregnancy.

Then Shubin was complaining about the few kgs that she gained since she visited him several months back. In response, the gynae joked, "who knows you might have twins."

"Nah, it can't be", was our response.

"Well, you might 'tio beh pio' (strike lottery). Let's see now...", Dr Tan joked.

Soon we spotted the first embryo and listened to its heartbeat. This is the part I loved most because I really cannot believe a little egg that is of 0.82cm can have a heart pumping.

Dr Tan, being a thorough gynae, went on to check everywhere in the womb to make sure it's normal. And he spotted another embryo! "You really 'tio beh pio'" was his response.

That moment was really overwhelmed with happiness and shock. And I think Dr Tan's right. We really need 3 days to get over it.

With Aston, we got to see how a baby ultrasound scan looked like. Now we get to see how a twins scan is like. It's amazing! We hope to share our joy with everyone of you...

Joyous day

Date: Dec 05, 2006
Time: 20:10 HR
Place: Raffles Medical Clinic, Compass Point

Mummy happily came out from doctor's room and 'announced' to Aston and me that we're going to add one more member to the family (little did we expect that it's going to be more than one).

The kind of joy is just like the time when we first had Aston.

Ooo...can't wait to see my baby and hear its train-like heart beats.

Another new experience on the way...

4 years after having our cute little Aston, we're finally successful in our attempt to give him a sibling(s) to play with. :-)

Just when we think that our experience with Aston should give us enough experience to cruise through the whole process of raising another baby, fate decides to add some challenges for us...

We are going to have twins!!!

I'm going to post their ultrasound scan and 3D photos soon. So, stay tune for a preview of my little twins...
